With the WB era ending this summer, the comedies that included THE WAYANS BROS., NICK FRENO: LICENSED TEACHER, and THE JAMIE FOXX SHOW will only remain in our memories and syndication. The new CW brings back old blood from two of the WB's shows. Look for Tia Mowry (Tia Landry on SISTER, SISTER) and Wendy Raquel Robinson (Regina on THE STEVE HARVEY SHOW) in THE GAME. I'm not impressed by the clip on the show's website, but I may watch just to see the beauty mark-less twin in action.

Daniel Radcliffe's upcoming stage role takes him on a different kind of adventure that involves no wizards and magic. In EQUUS, Radcliffe plays troubled teenager, Alan Strang. By "troubled" of course I mean the usual teenage angst and antics that include blinding horses and riding them naked. Intrigued?The play is scheduled to debut around March 2007 in London. Remember the glory days of Must See TV on NBC? NBC sure would like to relive those moments once again. They are taking little chance this season and hyping their new show HEROESas much as possible. The pilot will be available for download through iTunes starting September 1st (before the show premieres on television). The show's premise is ordinary people who discover they have extraordinary powers, and they didn't even have to go missing for decades first. The ensemble cast includes Milo Ventimiglia (Gilmore Girls) as nurse Peter Petrelli who learns he can fly and Hayden Panettiere (Remember the Titans) as an indestructible cheerleader, Claire Bennet. MTV has announced that it plans another season of the Laguna Beach spinoff that chronicles Lauren's (L.C.) post-LB life. Hate all you want, but this show is no joke in the ratings and is one of MTV's most popular shows.
No details on the second season yet. Lauren was supposed to intern in Paris with Louis Vuitton, but the word is that they "politely declined." Not want L.C.?! For shame!
The first season finale is set to air this Wednesday at 10PM (ET/PT).
Freddie Prinze Jr. doesn't plan on slowing down his career after having his TV show cancelled. Freddie is set to start filming on Jack and Jill vs. the World in Toronto this summer. The film co-stars Taryn Manning as Jane and Freddie playing Dick. What? Not Jack and Jill?
Another project pairs him with Jamie Lynn Sigler as his fiancee. Freddie will play Owen, an aspiring filmmaker, with Chris Klein playing his childhood friend in the comedy New York City Serenade.
Good luck to Freddie! Is it just me or do these pairings seem odd? I hope he has great chemistry with these girls.

That's would could have been expected with X-Men and Prison Break's Brett Ratner directing her video, but there was no such luck. The video began with tongue in cheek stabs at celebrities with Jessica Simpson, Eva Longoria, Christina Applegate, Christina Milian, and even Ryan Seacrest all going on about how famous they want to be. The most obvious dig was probably Applegate's statement, "I want to be so famous that I have to have my babies in Africa." After the "acting" in the limo scene, they went into where all celebrities go THE ROLLER RINK!
This is the best that Brett Ratner could come up with? Puh-lease, this has Jessica's stink all over it. I can imagine her coming up with the treatment: "Oh my gah! Let's go roller skating! I want to wear daisy dukes. Is it chicken or fish? I can act, really I can!"
We were then treated to a brunette Andy Dick playing the roller skate attendant that rudely drops the skates the the normal people and makes a quick 180 in the face of the "beauties." There were odd fantasy scenes involving licking, photo booths, ice cream, and hair pulling between Jessica and Maria Menounos. These "fantasies" were hardly appealing and only made me cringe at the sight of Jessica Simpson licking Andy Dick...eww...yuck.
Oh and then there was the guy that looked like a younger Nick Lachey. She seduced him with her cool dance moves on the floor followed by doing the splits and her longingly reaching her hand out to him. These crazy celebs and their courting rituals. I must take notes!
This public affair culminated in a dizzying lap around the rink that gave me flashbacks of the movie Roll Bounce. Frankly, Bow Wow and his friends made it a lot more appealing. She skates, she sings, she dances...she can do anything (I didn't say she did it well!).
The video is quite dull and perhaps the most interesting part was being able to recognize Brent Bolthouse's (The Hills) cameo as the DJ. Jeers instead of cheers to both Ratner and Simspon.
Last week, Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro announced their "amicable" split after two and a half years of marriage. Both Carmen and Dave say that they remain friends and support one another. inyourFACE is shocked at the news and really believed this couple would go the distance. After all, what better guarantee on a relationship than Dave telling Carmen he would marry her even if he didn't love her because she's "so hot"? After months of speculation by Perez Hilton, Lance finally admits he is gay and is in a relationship with Reichen Lehmkuhl (Amazing Race). He feels "happy" and "liberated" by his decision and has the full support of his *NSYNC buddy, Joey Fatone.

Apparently Miss Lindsay Lohan uses ProActiv everyday and travels with it and even has it in her car (WOW). This promo spot is so hilarious that I thought it could have been a lost SNL skit. Even with all the corniness, she is a nice change from the robotic Jessica Simpson.
